MANAMA: The Speaker of the Saudi Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, held a discussion with the Speaker of the Bahraini House of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, in Manama on Thursday, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the meeting Dr. Al Al-Sheikh stressed the importance of joint bilateral work and its role in developing and deepening relations between the two countries in various fields.
The two sides praised the historical ties and advanced strategic partnership between the two countries in various sectors. They also discussed several topics of mutual interest during the session.
Subsequently, the two parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) between the Saudi Shura Council and the Bahraini House of Representatives to strengthen joint parliamentary cooperation in various fields, aiming to strengthen ties between the two countries.
