ISLAMABAD/WASHINGTON: An Assistant Professor of Computer Science from Saudi Arabia, Faisal Nawab, who is based at the University of California, has been successfully leading a research team to develop projects for technology companies in Silicon Valley.

Nawab’s largest project was for the Meta platform after his team won the 2021 research company award for future technologies to enhance the next generation of the Internet, the official Saudi Press Agency reported.

Nawab said that the other two projects were with a start-up firm and involved introducing research ideas in the laboratory to process data in smart cities and universities via products transferred by the company.
