Saudi Representative to OIC Meets with Malaysian Ambassador

RIYADH: The Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Suhaibani, has met with Malaysia’s Ambassador to the Kingdom and its Permanent Representative to the OIC, Datuk Wan Zaidi Wan Abdullah and discussed enhancing the ties, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

During the meeting at the Malaysian Embassy in Riyadh, both sides discussed enhancing the ties of multilateral working relations, coordination, and constructive cooperation between the permanent representatives to advance the OIC.

They also reviewed aspects of joint Islamic work between the two missions to reinforce the OIC’s objectives, aimed at bringing prosperity, stability, and peace to the Islamic world.

The discussions also focused on enhancing Islamic solidarity and coordination in addressing common challenges and issues of shared concern, as well as recent developments within the framework of the OIC, along with reviewing the organization’s efforts on all fronts.
