RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman Humanitarian Aid & Relief Centre (KSrelief) continues its humanitarian work by providing assistance to crisis-hit people worldwide.
The agency distributed food and shelter aid benefiting more than 1,000 displaced individuals from As-Suwayda Governorate to Daraa Governorate in Syria.

The agency also distributed 500 food baskets to families returning from displacement in Sudan’s Al-Jazirah state, benefiting 3,999 people, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
In Afghanistan, KSrelief disseminated 100 food baskets at the Omari camp near the Torkham border crossing to Afghan citizens returning from Pakistan.
In Lebanon, 569 food baskets were distributed to Syrian refugees and vulnerable host families in the Koura district of North Lebanon, providing essential support to 2,845 individuals.
Meanwhile, in Pakistan, KSrelief delivered 2,167 food baskets across flood-affected areas, including Muzaffarabad, Kotli, and Bhimber in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Rajanpur in Punjab province. These efforts benefited a total of 18,210 people.
Since its inception in May 2015, KSrelief has carried out 3,588 humanitarian projects valued at over $8.1 billion.
These initiatives span 108 countries and have been implemented in collaboration with more than 321 partner organisations.
