OSLO: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has held a meeting with Norwegian Foreign Minister, Espen Barth Eide, during the visit of the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit to Oslo, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.
During their meeting, they discussed the bilateral ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and Norway, as well as means to enhance cooperation in various sectors, the SPA added.

The two sides also addressed the current developments in the Gaza Strip and the significance of taking urgent measures to implement a truce, the SPA maintained.

They also discussed the need to create the essentials conditions to ensure the security of relief corridors for the delivery of immediate humanitarian, medical and food aid to the Gaza Strip, the SPA reported.
According to the SPA, the ministers discussed the importance of establishing a conducive political atmosphere to obtain a comprehensive and just peace. This includes guaranteeing the genuine rights of the people of Palestine and contributing to global security and peace.
The SPA further reported that the meeting was also attended by Director General of the Foreign Minister’s Office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood, Chargé d’affaires of Saudi Arabia’s Embassy in Norway Ahmed Al-Harbi, and Advisor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dr. Manal Radwan.
