RIYADH: Saudi nationals have been given the green light to visit 3 western Balkan countries without obtaining a visa.

In a tweet, the Saudi Embassy in Albania said that Albania and Kosovo would allow visa-free entry for visitors with a valid passport document until 31 December and Montenegro through to 31 October.

Under conditions for traveling to Montenegro without a visa, Saudi nationals must be part of a tourist group and not be visiting individually. They should come on a direct flight from Saudi Arabia to have a return ticket, proof of accommodation payment, and produce an invitation letter from a tourist office in Montenegro arranging the trip.

The European Union (EU) was also working to exempt nationals from Gulf countries from visa requirements.

Patrick Simonnet, EU Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, said it
