RIYADH: The Saudi aid agency continues to deliver essential medical services to remote communities in Yemen, with its mobile clinics in the Abs District of Hajjah Governorate treating 663 patients during January.
The clinics of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) provided a range of specialised care throughout the month, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
A total of 663 people received services at the clinics. Among them, 327 patients sought treatment at the infectious disease care and control clinic, 98 were treated at the emergency clinic, and 208 received care at the internal medicine clinic. In addition, 30 individuals participated in sessions at the health awareness and education clinic.
Beyond primary consultations, the medical teams provided services to 90 people and dispensed medications to 401 patients.

The surgery and dressing clinic assisted 11 beneficiaries, demonstrating the breadth of care available. To ensure a safe environment, the teams also carried out nine medical waste disposal operations in full compliance with international health and safety standards.
This ongoing effort is part of KSrelief’s broader mission to support the Yemeni people by improving access to healthcare in areas affected by the ongoing conflict.
