Saudi Ministry Holds Religious Course in Maldives

MALE: The Saudi Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attaché office at the Saudi Embassy in India has held a religious course in Maldives on the fundamentals of Islam, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.

The event was held in the presence of the Minister of Islamic Affairs of Maldives, Dr. Muhammad Shaheem Ali Saeed, and the Religious Attaché, Badr bin Nasser Al-Anazi, who serves as non-resident attaché to Maldives.

The course, in Male, includes an explanation of the book (The Six Principles by Sheikh Muhammad bin Abdul Wahhab, and the book The Doctrine of the People of the Sunnah and the Community by Ibn Uthaymeen).

This course comes within the framework of the activities and programs implemented by the Ministry abroad to provide correct knowledge of Islam in accordance with the approach of the Quran and Sunnah, spread the values ​​of moderation, and reject extremism and fanaticism.
