Saudi Ministers Discuss Relations with NDB President in Paris Meeting

PARIS: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan and Finance Minister Mohammed Al-Jadaan held a meeting with Dilma Rousseff, the president of the New Development Bank (NDB), in Paris on Friday.

The discussions focused on enhancing relations between the Kingdom and the BRICS group of countries, as well as exploring avenues for their development.

During the meeting, the Saudi ministers and NDB President Rousseff delved into various aspects of Saudi Vision 2030, a comprehensive plan aimed at transforming the Kingdom’s economy and society. They particularly emphasized the importance of aligning Saudi Arabia’s goals with the global sustainable development objectives.

Relations Between Saudi Arabia and NDB

The meeting provided an opportunity to strengthen ties between Saudi Arabia and the NDB, an international financial institution established by the BRICS nations (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa). The bank primarily focuses on financing infrastructure and sustainable development projects in emerging economies.
