RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Culture Minister Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met with the Chinese Ambassador Chang Hua at the Ministry of Culture’s headquarters in Diriyah on Monday, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
During the meeting, Prince Badr congratulated Ambassador Chang on his appointment and expressed hope that their discussions would further enhance cultural relations between Saudi Arabia and China.
He also thanked the People’s Republic of China for selecting Saudi Arabia as the guest of honor at the Beijing International Book Fair last June.
The minister reflected on his visit to China in March, during which a memorandum of understanding for cultural cooperation was signed between the Saudi Ministry of Culture and the Chinese Ministry of Culture and Tourism, emphasizing the significance of their collaboration.
