NEW YORK: The Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, has met with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, Li Junhua in New York, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.
During their meeting, the two sides reviewed the Kingdom’s leading efforts in the Global Digital Compact and the “Our Common Agenda” declaration.

They explored how to enhance Saudi capacities and talent to support the UN’s work in the Middle East and internationally to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Eng. Al-Swaha and Li Junhua discussed the latest developments regarding the current year’s upcoming Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Saudi Arabia.
