RIYADH: Saudi Minister for Justice Dr. Walid Al-Samaani has avowed that judiciary in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) enjoys all the guarantees that preserve the rights of all citizens in the society to achieve social justice, Arab media reported on Monday.

He expressed these remarks while addressing a meeting with the chiefs of courts. He highlighted that the system to enhance the country’s judiciary that was extended to all its fields over the past several years in all justice departments, has reached the phases of maturity and high standard in the technical, process, and practical aspects. He noted that it was made possible due to the great support of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman, and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
He lauded the Kingdom’s criminal judiciary department and said crime will have a deterrent punishment, and these all are key issues that have an impact on overall levels. He said that the role of the court presidents is very important and it is linked to members of the justice system. The Minister said that members of the judicial system must ensure that the cases are proceeding objectively and regularly.
