RIYADH: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud have offered their condolences to Jordan’s King Abdullah on Tuesday following the passing of former prime minister Zaid Al-Rifai, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to the SPA, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, sent a message of condolence and sympathy to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of Jordan, on the passing of Zaid Samir Al-Rifai, the ex-prime minister.
In the cable, King said, “We have learned of the passing of the former prime minister of Jordan, Zaid Samir Al-Rifai, may Allah have mercy on him. We extend to Your Majesty and the family of the deceased deep condolences and sincere sympathy. May Allah Almighty bestow His mercy upon him, and protect you from all harm. Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return”.
The SPA added, his Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), sent a message of condolence and sympathy to King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of Jordan, on the passing of the former prime minister Zaid Samir Al-Rifai.
In the cable, the Crown Prince said, “I have learned about the passing of the former prime minister of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Zaid Samir Al-Rifai, May Allah bestow his mercy upon him. We extend to Your Majesty and the family of the deceased the deepest condolences and sincerest sympathy. I pray to Allah, the Protector, the Most High, and the Competent, to bestow His mercy upon him, and protect you from all harm. Indeed, He is All-Hearing and the Responding One.”
