JEDDAH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman have congratulated to President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan upon his issuing of decrees appointing UAE’s Deputy PM and Minister of Presidential Court Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as UAE Vice President, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, while Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Deputy Rulers of Abu Dhabi.

KSA-UAE ties
King Salman expressed his sincere congratulations and wished the president success and the government and people of the United Arab Emirates steady progress and prosperity while also highlighting the brotherly ties between the two nations.
Similarly, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has also expressed his sincere congratulations and wished all the new appointees success in serving the United Arab Emirates to achieve further development and prosperity.

Earlier, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al-Nahyan appointed Sheikh Khaled crown prince of Abu Dhabi. He also named his brother Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al-Nahyan as vice president, alongside the ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al-Maktoum. The President also named his other brothers Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al-Nahyan and Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al-Nahyan as deputy rulers of Abu Dhabi.
