Saudi Leadership Condoles Death of Former Chile President

RIYADH: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has conveyed condolences to President Gabriel Boric Font of Chile on the death of former Chilean President Sebastian Pinera, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

The King in his message expressed deepest condolences to the president, the family of the deceased, and to the people of Chile.

In a separate message King Salman expressed condolences to the President of Chile on the victims of the forest fires that swept through central Chile, resulting deaths, injuries, and missing people.

He said: As we share this tragedy with Your Excellency, we send to you, to the families of the deceased, and to your friendly people, our deepest condolences and sincere sympathy, wishing the safe return of the missing, and a speedy recovery to the injured.”

The SPA reported that Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, in his message expressed condolences to the President of Chile on the death of the former President Sebastian Pinera.

He expressed deep sorrow and sincere sympathy to the president of Chile, the family of the deceased, and friendly people of the country. He also wished him good health and safety.

The Crown Prince in another message to the President Gabriel Boric Font condoled on the victims of the forest fires that swept through central Chile, resulting deaths, injuries, and missing people.

He expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy on the tragic incident and wished the President the safe return of the missing, and a speedy recovery to the injured.
