RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has received a written message from South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir about means to strengthen and develop ties between the two nations and aspects of increasing coordination on many matters of common interest, Arab media reported on Thursday.

The written message was received by Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan during a meeting with South Sudan’s Minister for Humanitarian Affairs Albino Akol Atak in Riyadh.
During the interaction, the two countries reviewed aspects of ties between the two nations and also discussed the most prominent global and regional developments.
