RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s King Salman has issued directives to host over 1,000 Palestinians pilgrims to take part in this year’s Hajj season from the families of martyrs, wounded and captives, Arab media reported on Saturday.
Saudi King offers to host Palestinian Hajj Pilgrims
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the step is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Hajj Guests Program. Saudi Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh thanked Saudi King and Crown prince for their continuous support towards the families of Palestinian martyrs and injured.
In a statement, the minister said that the continuation of this generous sign towards the Palestinians pilgrims who perform Hajj annually at the expense of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques comes as a confirmation to the depth of the relations and his gratitude of the great sacrifices rendered by the Palestinians.
