Saudi King Congratulates Muslims on Commencement of Ramadan

JEDDAH: The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud has congratulated the people of Saudi Arabia and the Muslims all over the world on the arrival of the month of Ramadan, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

The Saudi King in his address, conveyed by Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary expressed gratitude to Allah the Almighty for the blessed advent.

He said that Saudi Arabia is the cradle of Islam and witnessed the birth of the faith’s message. The king said Saudi Arabia is honored to serve pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors in the holy month of Ramadan.

King Salman in the message said the Kingdom’s leadership and its people take immense pride in overseeing the sacred sites to developing the architecture of the two holy mosques through continuous expansion projects.

He said a tradition upheld by its kings since unification under King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, this dedication to serve Muslims and Islam continues to this day which is a testament to Saudi Arabia’s leading role.

He also congratulated the brave soldiers of Saudi Arabia stationed on the borders and frontiers. He added that their unwavering dedication, alongside all members of the military and security sectors, safeguards Saudi nation.

King Salman expresses sorrow on suffering of Palestinians

King Salman in the message expressed his deep sorrow on the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people facing relentless aggression.

He called upon the international community to uphold its responsibilities to put an end to these heinous crimes and ensure the establishment of safe relief and humanitarian corridors.
