RIYADH: The Saudi-Jordanian Joint Committee has held its 18th meeting in Riyadh to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two sides, Arab media reported on Sunday.
Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported that Saif bin Saad Al-Faqar, assistant undersecretary at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Transport said that the talks were held as per the directives of the Saudi leadership. He added that the meeting was in line with the bilateral economic deal inked between the two nations in 1962.

The official insisted on the nations’ ambitions to enhance cooperation in diverse sectors and executed suggestions made at past committee meetings.
Dana Al-Zoubi, secretary-general of the Jordanian Ministry of Industry affirmed the nations’ strong ties in diverse sectors, saying that the meeting built on the efforts of talks held last year in Amman aimed at enhancing trade.

The meeting resulted in the drawing up of deals and memorandums of understanding (MoUs), as well as talks on the best means to enhance cooperation between the two sides.
