RIYADH: A Saudi-Indonesian roundtable meeting held on Thursday in Riyadh in the presence of Minister of Investment Eng. Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih and Indonesia’s Minister of Trade Dr. Zulkifli Hasan, along with officials from both sides and significant private-sector representatives, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

During the session, several aspects of investment partnerships were discussed in energy, food, healthcare, human resources, education and agriculture sectors, the SPA added. Means to strengthen and enhance investments by leading Saudi and Indonesian firms in both countries were explored.
They also reviewed investment opportunities in both Saudi Arabia and Indonesia and means to boost economic and investment relations between the two nations, foster investments, and enable the private sector to take benefit from investment opportunities in the two countries. The meeting also addressed potential investment partnerships in several areas of common interest and ways to boost them.

According to the SPA, the meeting also witnessed the signing of memoranda of understanding (MoU) in the human-resources sector, aiming to strengthen strategic cooperation and promote awareness, training programs, labor culture, knowledge exchange, and the provision of technical consultations via conferences and seminars that can be held in both nations.
