RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan and his German counterpart Annalena Baerbock on Saturday met in Riyadh and discussed the latest developments in the besieged Gaza and its surroundings.
The two foreign ministers also discussed the international efforts made in the current situation in Gaza.
The Saudi foreign minister stressed the importance for all the conflicting parties to adhere to what is stipulated in the International Humanitarian Law, in addition to stopping all forms of targeting of civilians.
The Saudi and German foreign ministers discussed the importance of the international community fulfilling its due responsibilities towards reaching an immediate ceasefire, in addition to reaching a just, lasting and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue.
The international community must reach a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue and adhere to the resolutions of the United Nations and the Security Council in this regard.
