Saudi, French Foreign Ministers Discuss Gaza Situation

RIO DE JANEIRO: Saudi Arabia’s foreign minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has met with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Stéphane Séjourné and discussed bilateral ties and Gaza situation, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Group of Twenty (G20) foreign ministers’ meeting in the Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The ministers explored ways to boost bilateral ties between Saudi Arabia and France across various fields.

They also reviewed regional and international issues of mutual concern, with a special focus on the developments in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings.

Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Brazil, Faisal Ghulam, and Office of the Foreign Minister Assistant Director-General Waleed Al-Ismail were also present on the occasion.
