RIYADH: The foreign ministry of Saudi Arabian has organized a trip to AlUla for accredited ambassadors of foreign countries and their families, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.
Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Affairs Abdulmajeed Al-Smari accompanied the foreign diplomats during the visit.
During the trip the ambassadors were shown around the Hegra site, which is the first historical site in Saudi Arabia to be included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.

They also listened to an introductory explanation about the Qasr Al-Bint and Al-Farid Palace collections. The visit also included the Maraya Theater, which is the world’s largest building covered with mirrors.
