RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Saturday held a phone call with the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Palestine, Mohammed Mustafa, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The Saudi Foreign Minister congratulated Palestinian PM Mustafa on his appointment to form the Palestinian government, and on assuming the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Prince Faisal also wished success for his state and the new Palestinian government in serving the people of Palestine in light of the difficult circumstances they face amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war.
During the conversation, developments in the Gaza Strip were discussed including efforts made to achieve a ceasefire and the necessity to increase the flow of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip.
