NEW YORK: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, on Tuesday arrived in New York City to participate in the UN Security Council meeting on the Middle East situation at the UNSC headquarters.
The high-level meeting will discuss the evolving situation in the Middle East, with a particular focus on the issue of Palestine.

The Saudi Foreign Minister’s participation comes at the invitation of Brazilian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mauro Vieira, who currently presides over the UN Security Council.
UN Security Council to Discuss Gaza Situation
The discussion aims to address the ongoing developments in Gaza and the surrounding region and highlight the significance of achieving lasting peace and stability in compliance with international laws.
While in New York, the Saudi Foreign Minister is scheduled to engage in various meetings on the sidelines of the high-level UN Security Council session.
