RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan has discussed regional and global developments with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov during a telephone call, Arab media reported on Saturday.

The Saudi Press Agency said that the ministers also discussed bilateral relations, with Prince Faisal reiterating Saudi Arabia’s support for efforts to reach a political settlement to the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukraine reported a two-kilometer gain in Bakhmut region. However, Moscow denied Kyiv made any breakthroughs, adding reports of territorial losses do “not correspond to truth.”
