CAIRO: Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah on Tuesday participated in the 162nd Arab Ministerial Meeting in Cairo, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
The meeting tackled ways to consolidate joint Arab action in various fields and intensify multilateral coordination on Arab and global issues, particularly the Palestinian cause.
The latest regional and international developments also came under discussion at the meeting, which was attended by the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar.

Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah also participated in the second meeting of the Arab Ministerial Liaison Committee for direct dialogue with the Syrian government, on the sidelines of the 162nd Arab Ministerial Meeting.
Several Arab countries and Secretary General of the Arab League Ahmed Aboul Gheit attended the meeting, which discussed strengthening the Arab role in resolving the crisis in Syria and addressing its political, security, and humanitarian consequences.
