RIYADH: The Saudi Arabian Football Federation was presented the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Award for outstanding and excellent contribution during the AFC Annual Awards ceremony organized in Seoul, South Korea.
The award is presented by the AFC in recognition of the exceptional and outstanding efforts made by a member association or people to advance football development across Asia. SAFF has earned the award this year due to its key role in supporting the football community in Asia.
SAFF president Yasser Al-Misehal has expressed his gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their constant support of Saudi football, which has enabled SAFF to rank among top federations at both continental and global levels. Al-Misehal voiced appreciation for the support and guidance of the minister of sports.
