Saudi FM Speaks with Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Chairman, Commander of RSF

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has spoken over the telephone with Chairman of Sudanese Transitional Sovereignty Council (TSC) Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, and Commander of Rapid Support Forces (RSF) Mohamed Hamdan Dagalo, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

During the two calls, they discussed current developments in Sudan and their repercussions for the people of Sudan.

In this regard, Prince Faisal stressed the importance of working to protect Sudan and its people from further exacerbation and destruction of the already challenging humanitarian situation.

The minister stressed the necessity of prioritizing the interests of the Sudanese people and stopping hostilities to safeguard state institutions, protect Sudan, and lead it towards stability and safety.
