RIYADH: Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan met with his Egyptian counterpart, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, in Riyadh on Thursday and discussed regional developments, particularly the situation in the Gaza Strip.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, the two sides also reviewed continued unlawful aggressions by the Israeli occupation against the residents of the Strip, its recent violations of the sovereignty of the State of Qatar, and the resulting repercussions on the security and stability of the region.

“The two sides further emphasised the importance of unifying efforts to ensure the security and safety of the region,” it said.
The meeting was attended by Prince Dr. Abdullah bin Khaled bin Saud, Assistant Director-General of the General Administration for Policy Planning; Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al Farhan, Advisor to the Foreign Minister for Political Affairs; and Dr. Manal Radwan, Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
