RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received a telephone call from the High Representative of the European Union (EU) for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Sunday.

According to the SPA, they discussed the ongoing developments in the situation in Palestine. Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah expressed his deep concern regarding the continuing humanitarian disaster in Gaza, stressing the significance for the world to prevent the Israeli occupation strikes and the forced displacement of Palestinian people from Gaza, which is a blatant violation of global humanitarian law and international laws, the SPA maintained.

He also stressed the need to establish effective mechanisms to prevent military operations in the occupied Palestinian territories and the need to protect civilian population, the SPA further said.
