RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received a telephone call from French Minister of Foreign Affairs Catherine Colonna, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

According to the SPA, during the conversation, the two sides discussed developments of the military escalation in Gaza, the significance of an immediate truce and supporting political settlement to end the crisis as per the relevant global resolutions, and stopping the forced displacement of Palestinian people.

The SPA reported that the two ministers also reviewed ties between the two nations, means to enhance them in all sectors, and the latest regional and global developments of common interest.
Earlier, the SPA reported that Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah also received a phone call from Foreign Minister of Finland Elina Valtonen.
The SPA reported that during the telephone call, they discussed developments of the military escalation in the Gaza Strip, emphasizing the need for an immediate truce and the delivery of emergency relief help into Gaza.

They also discussed ties between the two sides, regional and global developments of mutual concern, the SPA maintained.
