RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has received a telephone call from European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

According to the SPA, the two sides discussed the recent developments in Gaza and its surroundings, and the efforts exerted to reach an urgent truce in the Gaza Strip.

The two sides also discussed the repercussions of the ongoing crisis, particularly at the humanitarian level, the SPA maintained.
