Saudi FM Participates in Joint Ministerial Meetings GCC-US

NEW YORK: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah attended today in the joint ministerial meeting between the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the United States, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).

The SPA said that the meeting took place on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 79th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York City.

The meeting explored means to strengthen the partnership and cooperation between the GCC and the United States, the SPA added. It also addressed bilateral and regional matters of common interest, with the current situations in Gaza and Lebanon being a primary focus.

The meeting was attended by the Kingdom Ambassador to the US, Reema bint Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and several officials.
