JEDDAH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah met with Pakistan’s Foreign Minister Jalil Abbas Jilani, on the sidelines of the open-ended emergency extraordinary meeting of the OIC Executive Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), in Jeddah, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

The two sides discussed the military escalation and the current developments in and around Gaza, global efforts to defuse tension, and means to protect defenseless civilians from the recent escalation of military operations, the SPA maintained.

The Saudi FM stressed the Kingdom’s firm stance in support of the Palestinian cause and efforts to achieve a comprehensive and just peace that ensures the legal rights of Palestinians.
