CAIRO: The Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan has held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Syria Dr. Faisal Mekdad, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.

According to the SPA, the meeting was held on the sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the Council of the League of Arab States at the ministerial level in Cario. During the meeting, the two top diplomats discussed developments in Gaza and its surroundings in light of the continuation of military operations and number of matters of common interest, the SPA maintained.

Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, Dr. Saud Al-Sati, Director General of Foreign Minister’s Office Abdulrahman Al-Dawood and Kingdom’s Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States Ambassador Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Matar also attended the meeting.
