RIYADH: Saudi Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan has received Rafael Mariano Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), and discussed issues of common interest.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry, in a statement on Wednesday, said that during the meeting in Riyadh, the two sides discussed ways to strengthen international multilateral action and issues of common interest.
They also addressed key regional and international developments.

The meeting was attended by the Deputy Minister for International Multilateral Affairs and General Supervisor of the Public Diplomacy Deputyship, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi.
Earlier, the IAEA DG met with Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman.
Rafael Mariano Grossi, in a post on social media platform X, said during the meeting, Prince Abdulaziz highlighted the excellent and growing cooperation between the IAEA and Saudi Arabia, as plans for its civilian nuclear program advance.
