RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has held talks over telephone with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, with whom he discussed the latest developments in Gaza, the role the international community plays to establish an urgent ceasefire, protect civilian population, and find a just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian issue in a way that achieves the aspirations of the Palestinians, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Tuesday.
Saudi FM Holds Talks Over Phone with Russian Counterpart
According to the SPA, Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah expressed appreciation for Russia’s vote in support of the United Nations resolution, approved on October 27, 2023, which demanded an urgent humanitarian ceasefire in the besieged Gaza Strip.
