Saudi FM Arrives in Jordan for Joint Arab-Islamic Ministerial Committee Meeting on Gaza

AMMAN: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah has arrived in Amman today to attend the meeting of the Ministerial Committee assigned by the Joint Arab-Islamic Extraordinary Summit on developments in Gaza, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

According to the SPA, the committee’s meeting in Amman will coordinate joint Arab and Islamic efforts during the high-level week of the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), which will be held in New York in September.  The SPA further reported that the meeting will discuss several subjects, including efforts to stop Israeli aggression on Gaza, end the humanitarian catastrophe, and ensure the delivery of humanitarian help to the Gaza strip.
