Saudi Delegation’s Visit to Pakistan a Significant Milestone in Bilateral Ties: President ICCI

ISLAMABAD: President Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Nasir Mansoor Qureshi, has said the recent visit of a high-level Saudi delegation to Pakistan is a significant milestone in the bilateral ties between the two nations.

Led by Minister of Investment Khalid bin Abdulaziz Al-Falih, the delegation’s visit is likely to result in bilateral agreements worth $2 billion. 

Talking to different delegations at ICCI, he said the visit is a testament to the strong ties between the two brotherly countries and also underscores the growing relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Qureshi stressed the importance of political stability for economic stability, noting that Pakistan is gaining stability, which is a good omen for future progress.  He said this positive trajectory has attracted friendly countries in investments and joint ventures, paving the way for economic development.

He stressed the need to remove bureaucratic impediments for ease of doing business by advocating facilities and resources to support businesses rather than burdening taxpayers.

Nasir Mansoor Qureshi added that as President of ICCI, he is committed to carrying forward the legacy of creating more business opportunities. He concluded that the ICCI has been working to explore new business avenues for its members and attract foreign investments by showcasing Pakistan’s tourism potential.

On this ICCI members Naeem Siddiqui, Malik Mohsin Khalid and others were also present.
