Saudi Defense Minister Meets Pakistan Army Chief

ISLAMABAD: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Defence Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud met with Pakistan Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir and discussed mutual interests, enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in defense cooperation.

Saudi Arabia and Pakistan share strong historical and fraternal relations, and will always remain well-wishers of each other, ISPR, the military media affairs wing, quoting the Saudi Defense Minister, said in a statement. 

During the meeting, the Army Chief thanked the Saudi Defense Minister for visiting Pakistan and gracing the Pakistan Day parade as a Guest of Honor.

Earlier today, Prince Khalid was welcomed at Nur Khan Air Base for his special visit and later participated as a Guest of Honor in Pakistan’s joint services parade on Pakistan Day, said ISPR.

Following a successful one-day visit, Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz departed for his homeland. Before his departure, Chief of Army Staff General Syed Asim Munir bid farewell to Prince Khalid bin Salman at Nur Khan Air Base.
