RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman has received in Riyadh Greek Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias, with whom he discussed bilateral ties and explored opportunities for enhancing and developing defense and military cooperation, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Thursday.

According to the SPA, the two sides also addressed major regional and global issues of mutual interest, including the latest developments in the Gaza Strip. The SPA reported that Prince Khalid underscored the necessity of preventing military operations, protecting civilian population, allowing humanitarian help and aid to enter, and resuming the peace process.

Saudi Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant-General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, envoy of the Hellenic Republic to the Kingdom Alexis Konstantopoulos, and several other top officials from the two nations attended the meeting.
