MAKKAH: The Saudi Association for Dawah, Guidance, and Community Awareness has served more than 132,000 pilgrims from over 20 countries through guidance initiatives in Ajyad, Makkah during this year’s Hajj.
The association conducted 222 activities, including welcoming pilgrims at the holy sites and providing them with hospitality services, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Monday.
It also distributed translated copies of the Holy Quran in more than 27 languages, along with educational lessons, religious sermons, and informative booklets on Hajj and Umrah rituals.
Volunteers contributed to various media and outreach campaigns in support of the association’s efforts to provide comprehensive religious and cultural guidance to the pilgrims.
