Saudi Crown Prince, Yemeni President Discuss, Stability, Developments in Yemen

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and President of Yemen Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi affirmed the need to support all efforts to reach an inclusive political solution in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations to achieve stability, security and progress in Yemen, Arab media reported on Tuesday.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the Crown Prince received President Dr. Rashad Al-Alimi and members of the Presidential Leadership Council at the Royal Court in Riyadh.  The two sides discussed progress and developments in Yemen and matters of mutual interest during the meeting. Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said that his country would counite its support for the government and people of Yemen.

During the meeting, they affirmed the need to support all efforts to reach a comprehensive political settlement in Yemen under the auspices of the United Nations, to achieve stability, security, and development in Yemen.

Saudi Chief of General Intelligence Khaled Al-Humaidan, and the Kingdom’s envoy to Yemen, Mohamad Al-Jaber also attended the meeting.
