Saudi Crown Prince Wants to Take Benefit from GCC-Central Asian Countries Cooperation

RIYADH: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has said Saudi Arabia looks forward to working together with Gulf Cooperation Council and Central Asian nations to benefit from available opportunities for shared cooperation in all sectors.

Speaking at the GCC-Central Asia Summit in Jeddah, he said that the challenges the world confronts today need all efforts to further enhance cooperation between GCC and Central Asian nations to achieve stability and security in the region.

“We stress the significance of respecting the independence, sovereignty, and values of nations, non-interference in their domestic affairs, and the need to further intensify joint efforts to confront everything that affects energy security and international food supply chains,” he said.

Earlier, the Crown Prince welcomed the leaders participating in Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Central Asian nations summit in Jeddah.

Participants in the Jeddah summit included the leaders of Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan.
