RIYADH: His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has received in Riyadh President Mahmoud Abbas of the State of Palestine, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
According to the SPA, during the meeting, they discussed the state of military escalation in Gaza and its surroundings, with the Crown Prince stressing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s (KSA) continued efforts in communicating with all global and regional parties to stop the escalation.
The Crown Prince affirmed Saudi Arabia’s unwavering support for the people of Palestine to obtain their legitimate rights in a decent life, achieve their hopes and aspirations, and achieve a just and lasting peace, the SPA reported.
According to the SPA, the meeting was attended by Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz; President of the General Intelligence Khalid bin Ali Al-Humaidan; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah; and the Saudi Ambassador to Jordan, who also serves as non-resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the State of Palestine Naif bin Bandar Al-Sudairy.
