RIYADH: Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia Mohammed bin Salman has received a telephone call from the President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macron, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
During the call, they discussed ongoing military escalation in Gaza. The Crown Prince stressed the need of halting the military operations that claimed the lives of innocent people.

He also underscored Saudi Arabia’s effort to enhance communication, work to calm the situation, halt the current escalation, and respect international humanitarian law, including lifting the siege on Gaza, and work to create conditions to bring the stability and restore the path of peace to ensure that the Palestinian people would obtain their legitimate rights and achieve lasting peace.
The Crown Prince also rejected of targeting civilians or disrupting the infrastructure and vital interests that affect the daily lives.
