RIYADH: Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan have discussed the military escalation in the Gaza Strip and its surroundings, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Wednesday.
During the telephonic conversation the Crown Prince apprised the Turkish President about Saudi Arabia’s unremitting efforts through regional and global contacts to achieve coordination that pushes for a halt of the current escalation.

The Crown Prince also reaffirmed the Kingdom’s stance in rejecting the targeting of civilians in any form and the loss of innocent lives.
He stressed the need of adhering to the principles of international humanitarian law and the necessity to stop the attack on the Gaza Strip.

The Crown Prince also emphasized Saudi Arabia’s consistent position in protecting the Palestinian cause and supporting efforts aimed at achieving comprehensive and just peace that ensures the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
