MANAMA: Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, on Thursday arrived in Bahrain to head the Kingdom’s delegation at the 33rd Arab Summit, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Upon his arrival at Sakhir Air Base Airport, the Crown Prince, was welcomed by Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain.
The Saudi official delegation includes Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Energy; Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet; Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of Interior; Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, the Minister of the National Guard; Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs; and Dr. Musaed bin Mohammed Al-Aiban, the Minister of State, Member of the Cabinet, and National Security Advisor.
The Saudi Crown Prince met with King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, on the sidelines of the Arab Summit being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain, SPA reported.
During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments, particularly in Gaza and its surroundings, as well as the efforts exerted to achieve peace and stability.
Meanwhile, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also met with President Bashar Al-Assad of the Syrian Arab Republic. During the meeting, they discussed ways of bolstering relations between the two countries and issues of common interest, SPA reported.
The Saudi Crown Prince also met with the Prime Minister of the State of Kuwait, Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, on the sidelines of the Arab Summit being held in the Kingdom of Bahrain. During the meeting, they discussed the distinguished relations between the two countries, cooperation in various fields, and ways to strengthen and develop them, SPA reported.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud also held a meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations, António Guterres, on the sidelines of the Arab Summit, SPA reported. During the meeting, they reviewed the latest developments, particularly in Gaza and its surroundings, as well as the efforts exerted to achieve peace and stability.
