ISLAMABAD: Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Said Al-Malky on Saturday delivered a formal invitation from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, inviting him to attend the ninth Future Investment Initiative (FII) Forum in Riyadh from October 27 to 30, 2025.
The Saudi Ambassador called on Prime Minister Sharif at the Prime Minister House earlier, the PM Office media wing stated in a press release.
Ambassador Malky handed over to PM Sharif a signed invitation letter from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud to participate in the ninth Future Investment Initiatives (FII) Forum to be held in Riyadh from October 27-30, 2025.
While accepting the gracious invitation extended to him, the Prime Minister conveyed his warm greetings and respectful regards for The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Recent developments in the region were also discussed during the warm and cordial meeting.
Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, along with advisers Tariq Fatemi and Dr Tauqir Shah, also attended the meeting.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia enjoy longstanding brotherly relations and close cooperation rooted in shared faith, mutual respect, and common interests in regional peace, stability, and development.
In June, PM Sharif met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in Makkah during a two-day official visit to Saudi Arabia.
The meeting saw a constructive exchange of views on strengthening bilateral cooperation across political, economic, and security domains.
According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting reaffirmed strategic and fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, with both leaders highlighting the importance of continuing their strong partnership.
